Fassi dealer Lerouge Hydraulique will participate in the 5th edition of the “Fête du Camion” showcase in France
Douai (France) – From 17th – 18th June, Lerouge Hydraulique, a French Fassi dealer, will be attending the “Fête du Camion”, organised by the association Trucks Passions, at the Gayant Expo Centre in Douai. This will be the 5th edition of this annual charity showcase of trucks, demo vehicles and custom-built vehicles. The proceeds of the event go towards helping the orphans of the transport industry.

Fassi’s Russian distributor, Milfoil LLC, reports positively from the CTT fair in Moscow
Moscow (Russian Federation) – From 30th May to 3rd June, Fassi’s Russian distributor, Milfoil LLC, was at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center (IEC) participating in the CTT 2017 fair in Moscow. Milfoil exhibited a range of different Fassi loader cranes at their stand, which included a Micro M15A crane with rotating outrigger, a Micro M30A crane with 2 rotating outriggers, an F40B.0.22 active, an F245A.0.22 e-active and an F65B.0.22 active installed on a new ISUZU ELF75 truck model. Overall, the cranes received a lot of positive interest from the many visitors to the stand.

A Fassi F1950RA.2.28 he-dynamic knuckle boom crane lifts a 40,000 lbs girder on Canadian building site
Nisku (Canada) – On 17th May, the F1950RA.2.28 he-dynamic crane belonging to Encore Trucking & Transport Ltd., a transport and handling company based in Edmonton (Alberta), installed a double-girder overhead crane weighing 40,000 lbs (approximately 18.14 t). What makes this lift exceptional is that typically these girder cranes are installed piece by piece, but due to the Fassi crane’s considerable capacity, the girder crane was assembled on the ground and then the entire apparatus was installed with just one lift from the Fassi crane.

A Fassi F110A.0.22 knuckle boom crane was at hand to provide recovery breakdown service at the 2017 Indianapolis 500
Indianapolis Speedway (United States) – On Sunday 28th May, the 101st Indianapolis 500 race took place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway circuit in Indiana. During the 53rd lap a bad crash occurred involving two cars which had to be retired, causing damage to the circuit’s catch fencing and stopping the competition for 20 minutes. Miraculously, no drivers or personnel were injured in the accident. Fortunately, a recovery vehicle fitted with a Fassi F110A.0.22 knuckle boom crane with extra wide outriggers was at hand to clear the track and assist in the repair of the fence.

Fassi customer Resch Transporte GmbH presents several Fassi loader cranes at the Truck Race Trophy 2017 event in Austria
Spielberg (Austria) – From 12th – 14th May, one of Fassi’s Austrian customers, the transport and logistics company Resch Transporte GmbH, presented several Fassi cranes at the Truck Race Trophy 2017 event at the Red Bull Ring racetrack in Spielberg, Styria. The race marked the opening of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, but was also an opportunity for trucking professionals to display their vehicles in the “Trucker Camp”.

Hörselberg-Hainich (Germany) – From 11th to 13th June, Fassi’s German distributor, Fassi Ladekrane GmbH, will be participating in the 10th edition of the Demopark exhibition, which will be held on the “Flugplatz” Eisenach-Kindel airfield in Hörselberg. Spreading over an exhibition space of 250,000 m², this event is Europe's largest open-air exhibition for the green sector, but also includes the latest technology from many other areas of industry, including the sanitation, water, construction, lifting, agricultural, transport and renewable energy sectors.
