S.L., is very pleased with the success of the SMOPYC 2017 trade fair for public works and construction and mining machinery, held in Zaragoza. Members of Transgrúas’ staff who were present at their stand were very glad to make many new contacts and, overall, are very pleased with the final result of the exhibition.

Ankara (Turkey) – From 3rd – 7th May, Fassi’s Turkish distributor, Rasim Otomotiv Inşaat San. Tic. Ltd. Şti, will be exhibiting at the 15th edition of Komatek, an international trade fair for construction machinery, technology and equipment. The event will be held at the Atatürk Culture Center in Ankara and is the region's largest and best attended professional construction machinery event.

Rheinstetten (Germany) – Fassi’s German distributor Fassi Ladekrane GmbH will be attending the TiefbauLive 2017 trade fair from 27th -29th April. The fair is a dual event, featuring over 200 exhibitors from different sectors – construction machinery, add-on units and related services for the civil engineering, earthwork and road maintenance sectors (TiefbauLive), and the green and recycling sectors (recycling aktiv).

Zaragoza (Spain) – From 25th – 29th April, Fassi’s main Spanish distributor, Transgrúas Cial SL, will be attending the 17th edition of SMOPYC, the international trade show for public works, construction and mining machinery, which takes place every three years. The event will be held at the Feria de Zaragoza exhibition ground over an area of 360,000 m², with exhibitions and live demonstrations from major industry brands.

Chelmsford (UK) – Last week, the specialist transport and lifting company David Watson Transport Ltd. undertook work on a building site in Chelmsford, Essex, which required precision, strength and an impressive reach. The company has many Fassi loader cranes in its fleet, including this F820RA.2 xhe-dynamic model with a fly-jib, fitted to a Volvo FM460 8x2 rigid truck.

St. Ingbert (Germany) – On 5th and 6th May, a German Fassi dealer, GERGEN Kipper- und Fahrzeugbau GmbH, will be holding a two-day open day event at their headquarters in St. Ingbert in the Saarpfalz-Kreis district. GERGEN has been a manufacturer of top-quality products for demountable loader cranes, hook-and-tippers and trailers for nearly 80 years.

Fassi F1100RA aboard on the vessel RV Chapman for St. Eustatius Expedition 2017
St. Eustatius (Netherlands Antilles) – On the 9th April, staff from Chapman Expeditions left the Port of Curacao on the research vessel RV Chapman, bound for St. Eustatius island (locally known as Statia), the “Golden Rock” of the Caribbean, with a Fassi F1100RA.2 he-dynamic crane onboard. The RV Chapman and Substation-Curacao teams will be joined by marine biologists and scientists from the Smithsonian DROP Team, the University of Washington/Burke Museum and Sirenas MD, a company which specializes in the development of potent therapeutic molecules to cure illness.

A Fassi F135A.2.22 e-dynamic loader crane for Merkko Builders Merchants
Bristol (UK) – Last week, Merkko Builders Merchants, a supplier of a wide range of building materials with two branches in Abingdon and Aldermaston in the south-east of England, took delivery of a Fassi F135A.2.22 e-dynamic crane, fitted to a Scania truck supplied by Scania GB. The crane was mounted at the rear of the vehicle, behind a large trailer fitted to the chassis, used for the transport of a variety of materials. The crane’s principal function will be to lift and load these materials.
