Fassi’s French distributor, Fassi France, will participate in the JDL Beaune 2017 trade fair


Beaune (France) – From 20th to 22nd September, Fassi France will be participating in the annual trade fair JDL Beaune, which is dedicated to equipment for the handling, logistics, lifting, forestry, transport, and energy sectors. The event will be held in the 36,000 m² indoor and outdoor exhibition space of the Beaune “Palais des Congrès” (convention centre) with approximately 150 exhibitors expected to take part.

The company deals in the importation, distribution, sales, installation and reparation of hydraulic equipment and components for the co-ordination of light and heavy cargo.

Muir of Ord (UK) – The company NorPower Ltd uses its Fassi F195A.2.24 dynamic crane for a range of different applications, one of which is the assembly of overhead powerlines and related equipment and structures. NorPower is based in the village of Muir of Ord in the Scottish Highlands, approximately 20 km west of Inverness.

Belfast (United Kingdom) – The company Kearns & Murtagh Ltd, Fassi UK’s main dealer for Ireland, have supplied a Fassi F660RA.2.26 he-dynamic loader crane to the transport, logistics and handling company, Brian Grant Commercials/Haulage Ltd of Belfast. The crane was mounted behind the cabin of a DAF XF Euro 6 tractor unit and has an extra pair of outriggers for even more stability.

A Fassi F600RA.2.26 he-dynamic loader crane mounted on a heavy Isuzu vehicle shows its flexibility at a work site in Kowloon


Kowloon (Hong Kong) – Last week a Fassi F600RA.2.26 he-dynamic loader crane was working in the Kowloon area of Hong Kong. The crane is rear mounted on an Isuzu CYH truck, which is a combination of interest, as it is rare to see a heavy-duty Fassi crane mounted on a heavy Isuzu vehicle which is not imported to Europe. Another interesting thing of note is the apparent efficiency with which this configuration seems to work, even within the very narrow spaces of this construction site.

Dubai (UAE) – Fassi’s distributor for the United Arab Emirates, Precision Machinery LLC, has recently undertaken the installation of a Fassi F110A.0.22 crane onto a Hino 1525 truck. An interesting feature of this particular configuration is the winch accessory with which the crane has been equipped. This combination of truck, crane and trailer has a great resilience for repetitive working actions; for example, the loading and unloading of material from or to the body of the truck and into construction areas.

Fassi articulated crane installed to a Hot Line Insulator Washer in Egypt by Tractors Engineering Industries


Giza (Egypt) – Fassi’s Egyptian distributor, Tractors Engineering Industries, have found another creative application for Fassi cranes. A Fassi F290A crane was installed to a Hot Line Insulator Washer, mounted on a 3-axle 6x6 Astra truck and is ideal for the safe and grounded cleaning and maintenance of electric substations and overhead powerlines. Being hydraulically powered, Fassi cranes introduce an additional element of safety to this type of work.

Libramont-Chevigny (Belgium) – From 28th to 31st July Fassi’s Belgian distributor, Fassi Belgium SA/NV, will attend the 17th edition of the annual Libramont Fair (Foire de Libramont), held at the Libramont Exhibition & Congress venue (LEC). The open-air agricultural, forestry and agri-food exhibition welcomes more than 220,000 visitors every year on a site covering 300,000 m².
