A Fassi F545RA Hydraulic crane on a Volvo Euro 6 for Kevin Guy Plant Hire
The Kevin Guy Plant Hire company of Colne in Lancashire has just added a 460hp Volvo FH 8x2 fitted with a new Fassi F545RA hydraulic crane to its fleet. The company specialises in the hire and sale of self-erect tower cranes, excavators, telehandlers, dozers and dumpers up to 9 tons in weight. This vehicle fitted with rear pneumatic suspension, a Globetrotter cabin and a pneumatic axle has been made specially for the transportation of self-erect tower cranes and therefore has an 8-metre bed fitted with lowered rear ramps.
Two Fassi cranes involved in the installation of a high-voltage pylon
Montevideo (Uruguay) - August 2016. Two Fassi cranes belonging to the company Ingener were used for the installation of a high-voltage pylon in a section of the line connecting Brazil and Uruguay. The Polish Fassi dealer at the Energetab 2016 trade fair
Bielsko-Biała (Poland) - 26th August. The Energetab trade fair, an important event for the Polish energy sector, will be taking place in Bielsko-Biała, 60 kilometres south of Katowice, from 13th to 15th September. This annual event, now at its 29th edition, sees the participation of various companies from all over Europe. The Fassi dealer for Poland, Hewea Sp.z.o.o., will be taking part with their own stand in area L5, Stand number 9. On Saturday 17th September at the Fassi Gru dealership Saber S.r.l., there will be a celebration for the delivery of a FASSI F1100RA crane to TGS, a Valtellina-based company specialised in lifting and special transportation. A new FASSI F1100RA crane fitted on a MAN TGS 35.480 8x4 truck will become part of the fleet of TGS S.r.l., a company in Traona in the province of Sondrio. The ceremony will take place at Saber S.r.l., a Fassi Gru dealership.
Lyss (Switzerland) - 5th September. Fassi Schweiz, the Swiss dealer for the Fassi brand of articulated cranes, has delivered 3 model F235A.2.23 cranes to the company Creabeton Matériaux AG, located in the canton of Bern. The cranes have been fitted behind the load bodies of MAN TGX 26.440 6x2-2LL trucks, and will form part of the already ample fleet of trucks which is the heart of the company. Fassi participates in the eighth CIRP IPSS conference
Bergamo (Italy) - 20th and 21st June. The 8th CIRP IPSS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE on the theme of “Product-Service Systems across Life Cycle” recently took place in Bergamo (http://ipss2016.unibg.it/). Fassi took part, presenting the scientific paper entitled “A TRIZ based Failure Identification Tool for Product-Service-Systems”, which was written in collaboration with the University of Bergamo and which was received with great interest by the audience.
Tombolo (Italy) - 31st August. The Ormet dealership (located in Colle Umberto, near Conegliano) recently fitted and delivered a vehicle with a Fassi F165AC.2.25 to the company Evit S.r.l. of Tombolo, near Cittadella. Fassi Ladekrane GmbH will be present at the annual Nordbau trade fair
Neumünster (Germany) - 30th August. The German branch of Fassi will be taking part in the annual Nordbau trade fair which will take place from 7th to 11th September in the city of Neumünster, 67 km north of Hamburg. On stand S 660 in the southern external area, qualified Fassi staff will be delighted to show you our solutions for the handling of building materials and equipment.
A Fassi F800RA crane in use on a building site near the Vatnajökull glacier
Vatnajökull glacier (Iceland) - 5th August. On the eastern side of mainland Iceland a Fassi F800RA crane with a hydraulic extension was seen at work at the beginning of the month on a building site, involved in the construction of the frame for the roof of a building. An hydraulic Fassi crane fitted to a truck can easily carry out tasks involving the lifting of materials, the positioning of structures and the handling of structural components, above all where precision and speed are important factors.
Cranab AB and Grutech Oy (the Finnish Fassi dealer) take part in FinnMETKO 2016
Jämsänkoski (Finland) - 25th August. Cranab AB and Grutech Oy will be taking part in FinnMETKO 2016, which will take place from 1 to 3 September in Jämsänkoski, approximately 100 kilometres north-east of Tampere. Two Cranab cranes (models TZ-12 and TL-12) will be on display, together with a Fassi F100B xe-dynamic crane. Since 1987, FinnMETKO has been the largest event in Finland dedicated to the sale of heavy-duty machinery, and numerous test drives and demonstrations are organised during the trade fair.
