During this year’s Italian National Hockey Championship, the Fassi logo will be worn on the shirt of the professional player Cory Pritz, the 28-year-old Canadian defender for Pustertal – Val Pusteria Hockey Club’s team. Pustertal – Val Pusteria is one of the strongest teams in the Italian National League, and last year played in the finals for the national title against the Italian champions Ritten-Renon.

Fascan International represent Fassi at the World of Concrete trade show


Las Vegas (USA). This week, Fassi’s US dealer, Fascan International is exhibiting at the World of Concrete (WOC) trade show in Las Vegas. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland; Fascan International has an extensive network of distributors and service centres, and has been Fassi’s principal representative in the U.S. since the early 1990s. WOC attracts approximately 1,500 original equipment manufacturers from around the world to exhibit, as well as exclusively U.S. distributors of equipment, tools, products and services for the commercial construction, concrete and masonry industries.

Barrow-in-Furness (UK). On 13th January, a custom-fitted Scania truck with a F660RA.2.26 crane with 10 t/m lifting capacity was delivered to Steeles Removals, a company based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Albino (Italy). Fassi Gru S.p.A. is very pleased to be featured in an article published on 22nd December 2016 on the Cranes Today website, a publication devoted to developments in the lifting industry. Fassi M15A.12 Sønderborg
Sønderborg (Denmark). The Municipality of Sønderborg, in the region of Syddanmark (Southern Denmark), recently took delivery of a M15A.12 crane with radio controllers. The crane will be operated by the Department for Sewage and will be used for lifting water pumps up and down. Hewea installs a F70B.0.21 e-active crane for small distributors

Mirków (Poland). Fassi’s Polish distributor, Hewea SP. Z o.o. (national dealer for Fassi in Poland since 1997) has installed a F70B.0.21 e-active crane (with radio remote control) onto a new Mercedes Atego 1221, a truck suitable for short and medium-range operations. The crane has a lifting capacity of 6.83 t/m and a hydraulic reach of 5.6 m, ideal for the lifting requirements of distributors of construction materials on building sites where light/medium deliveries are performed. This year, the company Grutech Oy, Fassi dealer in Finland, offers a very evocative photographic composition for Christmas, with the spectacular pairing of one of the most successful Fassi cranes, the F1950RAL model, and one of the most amazing natural scenes of this northern country. A story 50 years in the making for OMB, Officine Meccaniche Brugnetti. The anniversary of the company in Sorisole, part of the Fassi group, is a source of great satisfaction for the founder, Pierantonio Brugnetti. “I started this activity in 1966, and after the first two years, which is when it really took off, I met with Fassi in 1968. From that moment on, our industrial structure has only continued to strengthen.” Today the company is now being led by the second generation, Brugnetti’s son Stefano Brugnetti.

Fassi F365A.2.22
London (UK) – 14th December. Last week, this F365A.2.22 crane was seen at the foot of the iconic Big Ben clock tower, joined to the Palace of Westminster in the English capital, carrying scaffolding supplies to a London construction site. This model has a lifting capacity of 34.15 t/m and a hydraulic reach of 8.15 metres, which is a configuration typically used by construction material distributors for delivery operations.

Tarplett Generator Services receives its fourth Fassi crane

Pershore (UK) – 13th December. Tarplett Generator Services, a Pershore based company offering Diesel generators, maintenance and servicing, have recently taken delivery of their fourth Fassi crane. The model was an F660RA.2 crane (the second in the company’s fleet) installed onto the rear of a SCANIA R5208x4 V8 truck, supplied by Keltruck Ltd. This latest crane includes a fourth manual extension, ideal for work where height is limited, or equipment needs lifting through doorways, and also to give that extra lift when required.
