Fassi will exhibit a range of loader cranes at the 1018th edition of the Sant’Orso fair in the Northwest of Italy
Aosta (Italy) – Once again, Fassi Gru will be participating in the Sant’Orso fair, held in the town centre of Aosta in the special Italian region of the Aosta Valley on 30th and 31st January. The world-famous traditional annual artisans fair, now in its 1018th edition, will feature over 1,400 exhibitors, presenting the best of Northern Italian production, artisanry and manufacturing, which, of course, includes Fassi loader cranes.

Cordoba (Argentina) – The 40th edition of the internationally famed Dakar Rally drew to a close on 20th January, and resulted in great success for the two Fassi-sponsored IVECO Powerstar trucks of Petronas team De Rooy, driven by the Dutch driver Ton van Genugten (#509) and the Kazakh driver Artur Ardavichus (#508). The race started in Lima, Peru, and was comprised of 14 stages of timed distances, amounting to 8710 km in total.

Raab (Austria) - In June of last year, the company Wilhelm Schwarzmüller GmbH installed a Fassi F820RA.2.26 xhe-dynamic loader crane fitted with an L516 jib onto a MAN truck for an Austrian company that specialises in timber construction, carpentry, plumbing, roofing and crane hire, based in Upper Austria.

A Fassi F485RA.2.26 xe-dynamic loader crane for the British cargo and transport company John Brindley Ltd
Sharnford (UK) – Last month, the Fassi UK main dealer Central Crane Technicians Ltd, based in Chesterfield in Derbyshire, supplied and fitted a Fassi F485RA.2.26 xe-dynamic loader crane for the customer John Brindley Ltd, a cargo and transport company based in Sharnford, Leicestershire. The crane was mounted on a new Volvo FH540 3-axle tractor unit (equipped with towing wheel for semitrailer), which is mainly used for transport purposes, with the crane serving to lift and place the numerous storage containers and bulky loads that form part of the company’s hire and storage business.

Dakar (Senegal) – On 14th January the participants of the Africa Eco Race 2018 contested the 12th and final stage of the competition, ending in Dakar, Senegal’s capital city. Fassi joined with Petronas De Rooy IVECO to support the Dutch truck driver Gerard De Rooy in the important rally raid event, who gave a very satisfactory performance, attaining consistently good times throughout all stages of the challenging race, rarely falling out of the top 10, and finally achieving the overall position of 4th place and 1st place in the truck category.

Las Vegas (USA) - Fassi's US distributor, the company Fascan International, Inc., will be attending the 44th edition of the World of Concrete expo, which will be held from 22nd to 26th January at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The trade fair is the largest annual international event for the concrete and masonry industries, attracting more than 55,000 professional visitors and featuring more than 1,500 exhibiting companies in over 67,350 square metres of exhibition space.
