Sydney (Australia) – A Fassi F80A.0.22 loader crane was seen lifting the three giant fibreglass heads of the British television presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in Sydney Harbour. The crane was mounted onto a truck which was transporting the three 8ft tall statues around the city, in order to promote the motoring show The Grand Tour.

Albino (Italy) – On the morning of 28th November, 80 students aged between 12-13 from the Istituto Solari di Albino, a nearby secondary school, visited Fassi Gru S.p.A.’s Head Office in Albino as part of the 8th annual PMI Day (“La Giornata Nazionale delle Piccole e Medie Imprese” – National Small and Medium Businesses’ Day), organised by the association Confindustria.

Dubai (United Arab Emirates) – This November, Fassi’s Emirati distributor Precision Machinery L.L.C. installed an F215A.2.22 e-dynamic hydraulic crane onto a MAN 4x4 truck for a customer in Dubai. The combination is intended for typical crane handling of light to medium sized construction machines, and can therefore be seen here demonstrating its capabilities in lifting a Toyota Land Cruiser, a vehicle which typically weighs approximately 3.35 tonnes.

Bern (Switzerland) - From 16th – 19th November, Fassi’s Swiss distributor, Fassi Schweiz AG, was present at the 9th edition of the Transport-CH Swiss utility vehicle show, in the BernExpo Centre in the Swiss capital. The trade fair is held every two years and is dedicated to the exhibition of commercial equipment and vehicles for the transport and logistics sector.

Großklein (Austria) - Towards the beginning of November one of Fassi’s Austrian customers, the crane rental, transport and logistics company Resch Transporte GmbH undertook timber frame construction work on a house in the locality of Burgstall, Großklein, located in the south of the Austrian state of Styria. This work was made possible with the company’s Fassi F2150RAL.2.28 xhe-dynamic loader crane, equipped with an L816L jib and mounted on a Volvo truck.

Kempton Park (South Africa) - This month, Fassi’s distributor for Southern Africa, 600SA Holdings (Pty) Ltd (based in South Africa), has installed an F155A.0.21 active loader crane onto a Fuso FJ 26-280C truck for a customer in the construction sector. The truck has a beavertail body with drop-sides, made by the commercial vehicle load body specialists M & P Bodies in Alberton, Gauteng Province.

Moscow (Russia) – At the beginning of November one of Fassi’s Russian dealers, GK Spetskommash LLC, installed an F155A.0.22 active loader crane on to a KAMAZ 43253 truck equipped with an UM12 tipper trailer for waste disposal, produced by the company Kommash JSC, a specialist manufacturer of municipal and road machinery, with factories in the cities of Arzamas and Mtsensk.

Schladming (Austria) – As the winter season gets underway, Fassi once again proves the versatility and varied applications of its cranes with the installation of a F125A.2.25 xe-dynamic loader crane mounted on a Pistenbully snowcat. Fassi’s Austrian distributor, Kogler Krantechnik GmbH, installed the crane for the customer Reiteralm Bergbahnen GmbH & Co.KG, a ski resort located in Schladming in northwest Styria, which previously played host to the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 2013.

London (UK) – On 4th November, the online newspaper the MailOnline published an article featuring one of Fassi UK’s key customers, the company David Watson Transport Ltd, which provides transport and handling services across the UK and Europe. The article shows one of David Watson Transport’s many truck-mounted Fassi cranes lifting and placing an entire prefabricated loft extension onto the roof of a house in a West London suburb for the manufacturer, Landmark Lofts.
