New York (USA) – Last week saw the first ever sighting of Fassi’s new F600SE.44 wallboard crane at work in the streets of Midtown New York, not far from the Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. The F600SE model has a vertical reach of more than 10 storeys, making it the highest reaching wallboard crane on the market to date.

Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia) – Last month, Fassi’s Bolivian distributor San Jorge S.R.L. supplied and installed an F85B.0.23 active loader crane behind the cabin of a Mitsubishi Fuso truck with large trailer space. The fitting was carried out for Importadora Monterrey Srl, a company that provides steel work solutions and welding equipment for the construction and agriculture industries, based in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Stollberg (Germany) – At the beginning of March, the German distributor Fassi Ladekrane GmbH supplied an F155A.0.24 active articulated crane for the company Schilderwerk Beutha GmbH. The company is a manufacturer and assembly partner for display and signage systems for the private and public sectors and has a main plant in the town of Stollberg, as well as several other branches across East Germany.

A Fassi F365A.2 e-dynamic articulated crane is the star of the London St Patrick's Day Parade
London (United Kingdom) – On the 18th March, a Fassi F365A.2 e-dynamic articulated crane was part of the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in central London. The parade features elaborate floats, marching bands, sports clubs and Irish dancing schools from across the UK and Ireland in a procession from Piccadilly, passing some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including The Ritz, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, continuing onto Whitehall, following a 1.5-mile (around 2.4 km) route.

Trnava (Slovakia) – This month, the Fassi distributor EverLift Slovakia, s.r.o. installed an F185AC.2.23 xe-dynamic loader crane for the customer STABIL, spol. s.r.o., a company that specialises in fire safety equipment, based in the city of Trnava, located approximately 29 miles (47 km) to the north-east of Bratislava. In the picture, the crane can be seen lifting and placing a portable unit at the Trnava-Kopánka Airport.

(Democratic Republic of the Congo) – The Durban branch of Fassi’s South African distributor, the company 600SA Holdings (Pty) Ltd., has recently supplied and commissioned the largest articulated truck-mounted crane in Africa for the mining division of the Glencore Xstrata Group. The crane, a Fassi F1650RA.2 xhe-dynamic model, was fitted onto an articulated dump truck manufactured by Engineering Top Tech (Pty) Ltd, which is now deployed on the Mutanda copper mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Bratislava (Slovakia) – This month, Fassi’s distributor EverLift Slovakia, s.r.o. installed and delivered F305A.2.25 xe-dynamic hydraulic crane for the Slovakian branch of the multinational Austrian company Swietelsky Baugesellschaft m.b.H. The company specialises in the construction of roads, railways, buildings, tunnels and bridges and has its Slovakian branch in Bratislava.

Johannesburg (South Africa) – From 13th – 16th March, Fassi’s South African distributor, the company 600SA Holdings (Pty) Ltd, participated in the Bauma CONEXPO Africa 2018 fair in Johannesburg. Held every three years, the event is Africa's foremost mining and construction trade fair and is the gateway for international companies to gain access to the African market and for African enterprises to the global market.

Hardenberg (Netherlands) – From 13th- 15th March, Fassi’s Dutch distributor, De Jong IJmuiden B.V., exhibited Fassi loader cranes at the 18th edition of Transport Compleet, the fair for professionals from the transport and logistic sector, held in the Dutch town of Hardenberg. Upon arriving close to the fair’s venue, it was impossible not to notice the huge advertising banner with 12.5 m x 7.5 m dimensions hung from a new Fassi F2150RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic crane with jib L916 installed on a Volvo truck.

Fassi Sverige AB installs a one of a kind F1150RA.2.26 xhe-dynamic articulated crane with an L616 jib
Gothenburg (Sweden) – At the beginning March, Fassi’s Swedish distributor, Fassi Sverige AB, installed and customized a unique F1150RA.2.26 xhe-dynamic articulated crane, fitted with an L616 jib. The crane was painted with purple metallic paint at the request of the customer and was mounted behind the cab of a Mercedes Arocs truck.
