Klagenfurt (Austria) – From 29th August to 1st September, Fassi's Austrian distributor Kogler Krantechnik GmbH will participate in the Central European timber and forestry fair Holzmesse with the Fassi, Marrel and Cranab brands. The biennial international fair is a meeting place for industry professionals to discover all the latest trends in forestry, sawmill technology, construction, green energy, logistics, timber structural engineering and joinery and carpentry supply.

Hatfield (UK) – Recently, the Enfield-based Fassi customer Evenheights Specialist Transport teamed up with the haulage company Hallett Silbermann Ltd in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The former company was commissioned for its crane services and used its F820RA.2.26 xhe-dynamic crane with L414 jib mounted on a Renault 4-axle tractor unit to help assemble a Kobelco crawler crane. Proving the versatility of articulated cranes, this is an example of how Fassi lifting equipment is often used as auxiliary machinery to handle and to build up tower cranes.

Postojna (Slovenia) – In mid-July, Fassi’s Slovenian distributor, the company HIDRAVLIK SERVIS d.o.o., installed a stunning new F1650RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic loader crane onto a MAN TGS 35.500 H-6 BL 8X4 truck. The work was carried out for the Croatian customer DEROSSI METALI, a lifting, transport and metal work company located in Labin, a town in Istria. The heavy-duty crane will be used for lifting heavy machinery, boats and iron construction materials.

Dorset (UK) – The Fassi UK customer, A R Banks Ltd, a transport and lifting contractor based in Hampshire, was recently contracted to remove equipment from a Hilton Hotel in Dorset. To avoid disruption to hotel guests, the company were operating at the crack of dawn to extract a large piece of industrial equipment through the front entrance using a Fassi F365A.2 e-dynamic truck crane, a job which required precision and skill.

Stavelot (Belgium) - Last weekend, the Total 24 Hours of Spa Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup took place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps motor-racing circuit in Stavelot, Belgium, from 26th - 29th July. In addition to this race, Round 4 of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo competition also took place there on the 27th and 28th July and involved the race car featured here in the photo.

Mexico City (Mexico) – The Fassi customer Grúas y Soluciones Logísticas Salas, S.A. de C.V. (GSL Salas), recently undertook tandem lifting work with its two Fassi F1300RA.2.28 he-dynamic loader cranes with L426 jibs, mounted on Kenworth T800 and T880 trucks. The work was commissioned by Mexico City’s Metropolitan Collective Transport System (“Metro” service) as part of its initiative to expand its transport network, making the transfer and placement of several rail cars necessary.

The fair will be held on the 300,000 m² of the Libramont show grounds in the Belgian province of Luxembourg.

Fairford (UK) - Last week, Fassi UK customer Allens (Stourbridge) Transport LTD spent an afternoon working at RAF Fairford (a Royal Air Force base in Gloucestershire) with a Fassi F820RA.2.26 xhe-dynamic loader crane, mounted on a Scania truck. The crane lifted the wings onto a Spitfire plane for a display that was part of the RAF’s 100th anniversary celebrations, demonstrating its millimetre precision control.
