A Fassi F1950RAL.2.28 xhe-dynamic truck crane with an L816L jib is transported by sea to work on the South Arne oil rig

North Sea (Denmark) – Last week, the Danish customer Vognmand Erling Andersen I/S provided a Fassi F1950RAL.2.28 xhe-dynamic crane with an L816L jib mounted on a Scania 480 8x4 truck to be lifted and transported by boat to work on the South Arne oil rig in the North Sea. Once there, the truck-mounted crane carried out the important work of changing a winch on one of the oil rig’s fixed marine cranes.

Vognmand Erling Andersen is a company located in the town of Randers in Central Denmark and has a fleet of several vehicles equipped with Fassi truck cranes which are part of the company’s key services of crane work, transport and container supply. The crane, which is also equipped with a V40 winch, has a maximum lifting capacity of 127 tm and a hydraulic reach of 41.3 m with the jib. It was supplied and installed by Fassi’s Danish distributor Fassi Kraner ApS.
