San Sebastián de los Reyes (Spain) – On the weekend of 6th – 7th October, the final round (Round 8) of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018 (FIA ETRC) will take place at the Circuito del Jarama (Circuit of Jarama), located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, approximately 20 km north of Madrid. As always, Fassi will be there to support Team Schwabentruck IVECO, more specifically the driver Steffi Halm who had an excellent weekend of races in the last round of the competition at Le Mans and is currently in 6th place in the overall individual rankings. Championship races will begin at 15:00 on Saturday.

The Fassi Group stand experiences a hugely successful IAA Commercial Vehicles fair in Hannover
Hannover (Germany) – As the IAA Commercial Vehicles fair in Hannover draws to a close for another two years, Fassi takes a moment to reflect on its successes and challenges during this important event. In the 67th edition of this internationally renowned fair, more than 2100 exhibitors from nearly 50 different countries presented over 300 world premieres on around 280,000 m² of exhibition space to around 250,000 visitors, thus illustrating the potential of this dynamic key sector.

A construction company in Majorca receives its sixth Fassi crane, an F545RA.2.26 xe-dynamic, from Spanish distributor Transgrúas Cial, S.L.
Majorca (Spain) – The Majorca-based company Estructuras Metálicas Cañellas S.L. have recently invested in their sixth Fassi hydraulic crane. The company, a customer of Fassi’s Spanish distributor Transgrúas Cial, S.L., specialises in constructing metallic structures for large leisure complexes, such as hotels and sports centres, and has been a sector-leader in both the Balearic Islands and mainland Spain for over 50 years.

A Fassi F1150RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic loader crane with L616 jib for handling and transport services installed in Switzerland
Oberentfelden (Switzerland) - At the close of the summer, Fassi’s Swiss distributor, Fassi Schweiz AG, installed an F1150RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic loader crane onto a Volvo truck. The work was carried out for the customer Zumbühl Transport + Kies AG, a company with over 100 years of special transport and handling experience, based in Rothenburg and operating in the Swiss canton of Lucerne.

Steffi Halm drives in the 7th stage of races of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018 at Le Mans, supported by Fassi Cranes
Le Mans (France) – On the weekend 29th – 30th September, Fassi will be co-sponsoring the Team Schwabentruck IVECO in Round 7 of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018 (FIA ETRC), held at the world-famous Bugatti Circuit at Le Mans. This circuit has historically been a lucky one for the driver Steffi Halm of Schwabentruck IVECO.

Irapuato (Mexico) - From 29th – 31st August, Fassi’s Mexican distributor, Eurogru, S.A. De C.V., took part in the 4th edition of the AGEDI Conference, an annual meeting for the Association of Cranes, Equipment and Industrial Devices, that took place in the town of Irapuato in the central state of Guanajuato. The event is directed specifically at businesses in the cargo, transport, handling and logistics sectors, and is where some of the most prestigious global brands can be found.

Coalville (UK) – Recently, Europe's leading aftermarket manufacturer and supplier of industrial crusher spare parts, CMS Cepcor, has been adding to its fleet, favouring the combination of Fassi hydraulic cranes mounted on Scania trucks. The company, based in Coalville in the East Midlands, provides premium crusher liners and crusher services to the mining and aggregate production sectors on an international level. This heavy-duty work calls for several heavy-duty cranes. The latest addition to the fleet is this F660RA.2.24 he-dynamic model on a Scania G450 XT truck, which joins the company’s existing truck mounted cranes: an F660.2.23 (mounted on a Scania P450) and an F560.2.24 (on a Scania P400).

New Fassi technology to be presented at the IAA 2018 transport, logistics and mobility show in Hanover
Hanover (Germany) – From 20th – 27th September, Fassi Group brands will be exhibited at the 67th edition of the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover, the world’s largest trade show for transport, logistics and mobility, which is held every two years. It offers a unique cross section of the entire industry, from vehicles to wider transport and logistics, and from manufacturers to the many medium-sized suppliers. The fair usually features over 2,000 exhibitors in around 270,000 m² of exhibition space, with an estimated turnout of approximately 250,000 visitors.
