WM Boyle & Sons Ltd transports a twin-engine Pioneer plane using a Fassi F660RA truck crane in Scotland
Stirling (UK) - The company WM Boyle & Sons Ltd has recently used its Fassi F660RA truck crane to lift and transport a 1960s twin-engine Pioneer plane. The Motherwell-based logistics company transported the plane from a pilot training centre to a farm in Stirling, Scotland, where it will be used as unusual holiday accommodation for glamping and will sit alongside a former Royal Navy Sea King helicopter.

The final round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018 finished off a positive season for the Fassi-sponsored driver Steffi Halm
Jarama (Spain) - On 6th and 7th October, the final round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018 took place at the Jarama circuit near Madrid, bringing the exciting competition to a close for another year. The driver Jochen Hahn of the Dien Bullen von IVECO team emerged the overall winner of the championship, with excellent performances from the Fassi and Iveco sponsored driver Steffi Halm, who finished in 6th place overall.

Fassi Gru joins in the celebrations for the “Die Bullen IVECO” team’s victory in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018.
The "Die Bullen IVECO" Team has won the continental team title one race early on the legendary Le Mans circuit, with the champion Steffi Halm and the new European champion Jochen Hahn driving the more than 1,000 hp IVECO Stralis.

A Fassi F820RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic truck crane for electric power sector in Dietikon
Oberentfelden (Switzerland) – Fassi’s Swiss distributor, Fassi Schweiz AG, has recently supplied a F820RA.2.28 xhe-dynamic truck crane for electric power stations in the city of Dietikon in the Swiss canton of Zurich. The crane is mounted on a Mercedes truck fitted with a demountable ballast bridge, all of which combine to make an ideal vehicle for transporting equipment such as high voltage transformers and large cable reels within, to and from the power station.

San Sebastián de los Reyes (Spain) – On the weekend of 6th – 7th October, the final round (Round 8) of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2018 (FIA ETRC) will take place at the Circuito del Jarama (Circuit of Jarama), located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, approximately 20 km north of Madrid. As always, Fassi will be there to support Team Schwabentruck IVECO, more specifically the driver Steffi Halm who had an excellent weekend of races in the last round of the competition at Le Mans and is currently in 6th place in the overall individual rankings. Championship races will begin at 15:00 on Saturday.
