Announced the "entry lists" of riders participating in 2016 at the SBK Championship and Super Sport
Barcelona (Spain) - February 3rd. At less than a month from the first race of the 2016 Championships that will take place at Phillip Island in Australia, the press office of Dorna WSBK Organization has released the "entry lists" of riders participating in the new SBK season and Super Sport.
After positive feedback and input from the WorldSBK Series Promotors, Circuits, Manufacturers, Sponsors, and TV Broadcasters, DWO has worked tirelessly to bring forward a new, revamped WorldSBK race weekend schedule traditionally held on Sunday morning, Race 1 will now take place on Saturday afternoons.
The provisional race calendar has been published ahead of the 2016 edition of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship
The championship takes on a new look for 2016, not least as there are new regulations in the FIM Supersport World Championship (WorldSSP) which races alongside the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) at all rounds bar one. Once again, the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup (STK1000) will feature on all European race weekends across the course of the season.
