Assen (Holland) - 17th April. The word of motorcycle racing has a remarkable fascination with Assen. This Dutch circuit is the real focal point of motorcycling, and is always a huge draw for the fans. The Dutch Fassi dealer, the company De Jong Ijmuiden I B.V., responded to this incredible event by displaying two vehicles in the circuit paddock, set up with two models of high-range Fassi cranes: a F990RA.2.28 L616 JDP and a F660RA.2.27 with manual extension. TT Circuit Assen (Holland) - April 16th and 17th. Race 1: Rea takes the victory, Davies stays close, and Hayden hits the podium. Race 2: Rea completes the pair as van der Mark gets the crowd back on their feet in a tense game of chess at Assen. KRT rider Jonathan Rea took another incredible win in the Netherlands in Race 2 as a half wet half dry race saw tyre decisions play the key role. Joined on the podium by teammate Tom Sykes and local hero Michael van der Mark, Race 2 was characterized by nervous glances at the sky as the riders dealt their cards.
The FIM and DWO would like to announce the cancellation of the 2016 WorldSBK Italian Round that was to be held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza during the weekend of the 22nd – 24th July. Confirmation of both the location and date of the replacement will be provided before the 1st of May, to enable final confirmation of the 2016 WorldSBK Calendar.
MotorLand Aragón (Spain) - April 2nd and 3rd. Race 1: Davies Takes Race 1 to Get Title Challenge Back on Track. Race 2: Davies Completes the Double in Aragón. KRT riders lock out the podium but Welshman sets the pace in WorldSBK’s 700th race. Aruba.it Racing – Ducati rider Chaz Davies took another incredible win at MotorLand Aragón in Race 2, crossing the line 6.471 seconds clear of the nearest bike on track after another sublime ride. Kawasaki riders Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea completed the podium in Spain after being locked in another head to head.
Chang International Circuit (Thailand) - March 12th and 13th. Clash of the Teammates: Race 1. Rea just beats teammate Sykes over the line in tense Thai clash. Race 2: Sykes Fights Back. Three-way battle sees the number 66 triumph over teammate Rea. Kawasaki Racing Team’s Tom Sykes has taken an incredible victory in a three-way fight for the win at Chang International Circuit in Thailand.
