Race 1: Davies Takes A Flawless Win As Sykes Closes In On Championship Lead. Race 2: After a good day on Saturday the KRT man finished 12th in the second race in Germany.

Having enjoyed a productive Saturday at the Lausitzring with a second place result - which saw him temporarily reduce the gap at the top of the standings to 26 points to his KRT teammate Jonathan Rea – things did not go so well for Tom Sykes on Sunday.

WSBK - Laguna Seca 2016

The Great American Revival?

Race 1 saw Jonathan Rea take his first win at the US venue, as the reigning Champion fought off teammate Tom Sykes to earn the victory in style. With a bike on which he feels increasingly comfortable, the victory was an important one in the title fight – Laguna Seca being the first of a spate of tracks on the calendar on which Rea had never won. Sykes’ Sunday improved his weekend, too – the KRT rider took the win from the Ducati duo, and gained a big chunk of points back in the title fight as his teammate was unable to finish.

Fassi SBK sponsor - Misano 2016

The Championship lead extends after an incredible show of pace and precision from Rea

Kawasaki Racing Team rider Jonathan Rea has completed a double at Misano World Circuit, stalking teammate Tom Sykes until pulling away with 5 laps to go and crossing the line with a 3 second margin in an impressive display from the reigning World Champion.
