Rea celebrates 150th WorldSBK race with another win at Imola
Imola (Bologna) May 10, 2015 - Unlike today’s opening race which was shortened to 6 laps, Imola race 2 went the full 19 lap distance with the Kawasaki Racing duo once again in command, claiming their second 1-2 finish of the day with Jonathan Rea once again getting the better of Tom Sykes who finshed 2nd, 4.399s behind the current Championship leader.
Imola (Bologna) May 10, 2015 - The opening race at Imola, the Acerbis Italian Round of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship resulted in victory for championship leader Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) after a the race was initially red flagged and restarted because of crash involving David Salom (Team Pedercini).
The fifth event of the WorldSBK season takes the series to Imola for the Acerbis Italian Round. In the Province of Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna region, the circuit named in honour of Enzo and Dino Ferrari has been on the World Superbike calendar since 2001, with the exceptions of 2007 and 2008 when the series raced at Vallelunga. The current 4.936km layout features 22 corners of which 13 are left-handers. The flowing nature of the layout, the many elevation changes and the lack of long straights make Imola one of the most demanding and technical tracks in the world.

April 19th - The Dutch distributor of Fassi was present during the Assen weekend for the fourth race of the World Championship of SBK. The Dutch staff of the Company based close to Amsterdam has accompanied several customers guests to the esclusive lounge along the straight of start/arrival of the circuit to enjoy the competitions.
