Fassi has been collaborating with Hidravlik Servis d.o.o. of Postojna for almost twenty years. It is a professional and determined company with excellent knowledge of the lifting sector in Slovenia and Croatia. We paid a visit to the headquarters not far from Ljubljana (approximately 50 km), to get a first-hand look at how the company works, and above all to interview Damijan Černjač, the company owner.

A Fassi F2150RAL.2.28 L816L crane mounted on a Volvo FH 540 vehicle was recently delivered to Denmark
Nyborg (Denmark) - 7th May. The Danish transport company Erik Jørgensen Eftf. A/S Nyborg has recently added a beautiful Fassi F2150RAL.2.28 L816L fitted on a Volvo FH 540 to its fleet. This is not the first Fassi crane for this customer, it already has several in its fleet, but this is certainly the biggest. The model was sold by Fassi Kraner ApS, which, thanks to the construction expertise of the technicians at the Fassi workshop in Aarhus, was able to offer a very interesting solution.

A Fassi F1150RA.2.28 hydraulic crane on a Scania truck delivered to a metalworking firm in Trebesing, Austria
Trebesing (Austria) – An F1150RA.2.28 crane equipped with an L616 jib and V30 winch, with automatic winch control and IoC system for remote crane servicing, was recently delivered by Fassi's Austrian importer, Kogler Krantechnik GmbH. Mounted on a four-axle Scania truck by the company Ressenig Fahrzegbau GmbH, this crane will be used in the transport and assembly of metal products for the construction sector, produced by the company Schwinger Metalltechnik of Trebesing in Carinthia. Two Fassi cranes belonging to a South African company engage in a tandem lifting operation at the Durban port
Durban (South Africa) – 15th April. Two Fassi cranes from the Lovemore Bros company have been engaged in the tandem lifting operation of an industrial machine at the port of Durban, a coastal town in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in eastern South Africa. The two cranes, an F820RA installed on a Volvo Tridem truck and an F600A on an ERF 8x4 truck, handled this load without any difficulty and transferred it onto a special semi-trailer to be transported to its final destination. Lliçà de Vall (Spain) – Fassi's distributor in Spain, the company Transgrúas Cial, SL, based in the Barcelona metropolitan area, opened an online space on its website at the beginning of April and called it "Virtual Smopyc". Since it was not possible to hold the SMOPYC fair in Zaragoza on the dates scheduled from 1st – 4th April, the Transgrúas staff had the brilliant initiative to offer a rich and complete web exhibition of the equipment that would be on display at the fair.

An important delivery recently supplied by the Fassi distributor in Turkey
Ankara (Turkey) – The company Rasim Makina Sanayi Ve Ticaret LTD.STI., long-time distributor of the Fassi brand in Turkey, has recently delivered the first batch of vehicles that will be used by the Turkish Standards Institution. Carried out through a local procurement company, this supply includes Fassi F335A.2.24 e-dynamic cranes fitted on MERCEDES AROCS 4142 8x4 WB vehicles, all fitted with 2 manual extensions, radio controls, the FSC-H stability system and supplementary outriggers.

The current importance of oxygen supply in hospitals
Rimini (Italy) – In light of the health emergency that has hit the world (and particularly Italy) in recent weeks, on 23rd March the company Autotrasporti Rossi Luca, a customer of the Fassi dealer for the northern area of the Marche region, carried out a service at the hospital in Rimini to support the supply of essential oxygen supply equipment.

Fascan International drew an enthusiastic response to its 2020 ConExpo exhibit in Las Vegas, 10th -13th March
Las Vegas (U.S.) - The show, which covered some 232 square metres of exhibitor space and, despite experiencing some disruption and an early-wrap up due to concerns over COVID-19, drew more than 2,000 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors. The Fascan/Fassi exhibit site saw hundreds of visitors at this year’s show. Many of those attendees showed special interest in the JF545, a powerful, versatile representative of the new JF Series, which combines the accessibility and mobility of a Jekko minicrane with the power and lifting/placing capabilities of a Fassi knuckleboom crane.

In Greece too, Fassi cranes are a valuable support to the fish farming sector at sea
Euboea (Greece) – As we have already pointed out several times, Fassi cranes from the "marine” series (specially treated to withstand the environmental conditions of use in the open sea) often prove to be a valuable support onboard boats used by companies involved in aquaculture. If these small boats are used, the reduced size of the articulated cranes in closed position becomes an advantage when it is necessary to have as much space as possible for nets, fish feed and equipment used for fish farming at sea.
