Fassi sponsor of German champion Steffi Halm

Fassi Gru is the co-sponsor of Team Schwabentruck IVECO and the German champion Steffi Halm, driving her IVECO Stralis with over 1,000 hp. The first of eight scheduled race weekends will take place in Italy on the Misano Adriatico circuit

Misano Adriatico (Italy) – 25/26 May. The first race weekend of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship is scheduled at the Misano World Circuit, named for Marco Simoncelli. Eight races will determine who will be the protagonists of this year's European championship, where, as co-sponsor, Fassi Gru will be alongside the German team Schwabentruck who make no secret of their ambitions.

The team's two 5.3-tonne IVECO Stralis 440E56 XP-Rs are powered by IVECO Cursor 13 engines, which are capable of delivering 1,180 hp to reach a speed of 160 km/h, the maximum allowed by race rules. The German champion Steffi Halm will be at the wheel of one of the two trucks, the only woman in the race who, after last season’s excellent results, aims to be among the protagonists in 2019.

After the Italian race, the championship will continue in June in Hungary, on the Hungaroring circuit, while there are two events in July: the Slovakian circuit of Slovakia Ring and the mythical German Nurburgring. In September there will be three races: at Most in the Czech Republic, at Zolder in Belgium and at Le Mans in France. The season will end in October in Spain at the Jarama circuit.

In Misano, Fassi Gru will exhibit a Stralis X-WAY 8x2 Euro 6C 4-axle vehicle equipped with Fassi F545RA.2.26 L426 crane in the IVECO space.
