    The downhill skier, Sofia Goggia, visits company headquarters on beginning a new sponsorship with Fassi Cranes

    Bergamo (Italy) -Fassi Gru S.p.A has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Italian World Cup alpine skier, Sofia Goggia. Apart from the athlete and the company’s shared roots in Bergamo, both share a focus on improving performance, safety and risk reduction and stability and control. Hosted by Fassi’s CEO, Giovanni Fassi, Goggia visited the plant in Albino, where she was shown around the organisation’s production facilities and offices.

    Fassi sponsor of German champion Steffi Halm

    Fassi Gru is the co-sponsor of Team Schwabentruck IVECO and the German champion Steffi Halm, driving her IVECO Stralis with over 1,000 hp. The first of eight scheduled race weekends will take place in Italy on the Misano Adriatico circuit.

    – 25/26 May. The first race weekend of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship is scheduled at the Misano World Circuit, named for Marco Simoncelli. Eight races will determine who will be the protagonists of this year's European championship, where, as co-sponsor, Fassi Gru will be alongside the German team Schwabentruck who make no secret of their ambitions.

    The presence of the Fassi logo on the right arm of the new rising star in Italian motorbiking Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia.

    – 1-2 June. The first instance of this dates back to 2007, when the Fassi Gru logo made its appearance on the Honda LCR ridden by Carlos Checa and managed by Lucio Cecchiniello’s team. Twelve years on, Fassi Gru returns to the MotoGP, this time at the side, or rather on the right arm, of the Moto2 world champion and rising star in Italian motorbiking Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia. The driver is a choice of partner who, together with Fassi Gru’s recent pairing with the skier Sofia Goggia, highlights the crane manufacturer’s focus on the rise of young Italian sporting champions as well as the desire to associate its image of continuous development and cutting-edge technology with sporting performance where speed and pushing the limits is a fundamental component, while always remaining focused on safety.

    This year Fassi Gru is present as Official Partner to the riders from the SKY Racing Team VR46 taking part in the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships


    A focus on people, passion and a desire to succeed are the characteristics that Fassi Gru shares with the SKY Racing Team VR46, a team that gathers together the best talents from the VR46 Riders Academy, created and managed by the champion of Tavullia. This is why the Bergamo-based company has decided to take on the role of the team’s Official Partner for this season of the World Championships, supporting the riders Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi in Moto 2, and Celestino Vietti and Andrea Migno in Moto 3, who will all be displaying the Fassi Gru logo on the cowl tails of their bikes.

    The FIS 2019 Alpine Ski World Championships are taking place in Åre, Sofia Goggia finishes in second place in her first race

    Åre (Sweden)– Held from 4th-17th February, the Alpine Ski World Championships is a biannual sports competition organised by the International Ski Federation (FIS), which awards the world titles in the various Alpine ski categories. This year they take place at the Swedish resort of Åre, in the county of Jämtland, in the north-western part of Sweden.

    The Fassi-sponsored Italian alpine champion has a great start to the season in the Super G race held in St. Moritz

    St. Moritz (Switzerland)– Sofia Goggia manages to win the second World Cup SuperG race of the season by just one hundredth of a second. The Olympic champion managed to take the second finish by a whisker on the fast track of Corviglia in St. Moritz, despite losing a ski pole after a jump.

    Two second-place wins in the Women's Alpine Downhill Skiing competitions inspire hope for the next World Championships

    Garmisch (Germany) - On 26th and 27th January, Sofia Goggia’s (the athlete that Fassi has sponsored since the beginning of the year) return to racing after her injury at the beginning of the season has already produced two excellent results, respectively in the Women's Super G and Downhill in the last races to be held in Germany in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the alpine resort located in the German Alps to the south of Munich.

    Crans-Montana (Switzerland) – 23rd February. The return to the World Cup races after the World Championships in Åre, Sweden, couldn't have been better. Sofia Goggia won the Crans-Montana World Cup Downhill race last Saturday (23rd February) in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.
