Christopher Arrondelle – Author of “Fassi Has Arrived”
Chris is a self-taught photographer, currently studying for a photography degree at London South Bank University. Based in London, Chris works as a photographer both nationally and internationally. Experienced in a broad range of photographic styles, he draws from his own working experience within the haulage industry, to provide specialist photographic services to truck and motorsport operators and their supporting industries. In all his photographic work Chris aims to tell a story with his images.
Christopher drew on his previous experience of operating Fassi cranes, and his experience of the “Celebrity” or “VIP” status that is bestowed upon this specialist lifting equipment when arriving on site. In this image the crane is photographed arriving on a red carpet to be met by a pack of paparazzi. Long exposure photography was combined with flash to capture the neon Fassi sign in the background, which is an iconic landmark in this part of Italy, and highlights the crane as the star of the image.
