Icelandic boat builder, Vikingboats ehf, delivered a 13m shelter decked fishing boat to a Norwegian buyer in February. The vessel - Vardøjenta F-190-V - is home ported in Vardø, north Norway. The boat is equipped for longline fishing, gillnetting and for King crab, with a specially made side hatch on the starboard side for the crab pots. The vessel has been designed for professional fishing in the North Atlantic Ocean. The sheltered deck is heated to give the best working conditions for the crew. A Fassi crane model Micro is installed on board.
