A Fassi heavy-duty crane of 80 tm involved into a ship's recovery near Amsterdam

Beach of Petten 60 km at north of Amsterdam. A heavy-duty Fassi crane of 80 tm installed on a dumper vehicle has helped the recovery of the load of a ship (of Belgium origin) on the Dutch cost. The problem has been that the ship got the fish nets in the propellor, so the power of the engine caused the breaking of the transmission gears propeller. The ship is gone drifted onto the sand beach. The recent St. Jude  storm which struck the northern Europe has complicated the recovery operations. The Gerard de Nijs Transport company situated at Limmen (Netherland) together a Mammoet, one of most important world specialist in heavy lifting in the world, have been busy for days into the recovery the ship from the beach.
