A heavy-duty Fassi crane was used for operations close to the Ariston Theatre in Sanremo, Italy

Sanremo (Italy) – A Fassi F1650RAL.2.28 L616L xhe-dynamic crane belonging to the shipyard Cantiere Nautico Fratelli Diurno snc recently engaged in setting up equipment in the vicinity of the Ariston Theatre in Sanremo (Imperia, Italy), the site of the famous music festival scheduled to take place from 2nd to 6th March. The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian annual song contest, consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs.

The crane, fitted with a winch, has a maximum lifting capacity of 130 tm and maximum hydraulic outreach of 40.95 m with jib. In this case, the crane’s vertical outreach was particularly useful, as well as its IMC integral control system and FX900 control unit (that both come as standard) and the Fassi V7RRC radio control unit.
