The date for the next edition is already set: it will again be held at the Fiera di Rimini from 5th to 8th November 2019


Rimini (Italy) – The Ecomondo fair dedicated to renewable energy and the green economy came to a close on 9th November with a positive outcome. On Thursday 8th November at the Fassi stand in Hall C3, the first meeting of the Italian sales network of the group including the Cranab and Marrel brands was concluded. Numerous commercial partners participated and the speeches of Giovanni Fassi (CEO of Fassi Gru S.p.A.), Anders Strömgren (CEO of Cranab AB), Jérôme Semay (CEO of Marrel SAS), Mario Bortolussi (international sales manager of Marrel), Micael Olsson (marketing manager of Cranab AB) and Marco Del Campanile offered many technical insights and interesting opportunities related to the strong development of the sector. 

In terms of international attendance, the fair yielded positive results, with international visitors and exhibitors representing 10% of the total participants. There were operators from 115 countries at the fair: 70% of them from Europe, 9% from the Mediterranean Basin and important participation also from China and the Russian Federation.

Guests appreciated the show’s industrial and scientific content as well as the presentation of the most advanced European programmes concerning recycling, the bio-economy and renewable energies. In addition, the 2018 edition had several focuses: European strategy on plastics, management and enhancement of water resources, land clean-up, redevelopment of seaport sites and areas, prevention and management of hydrogeological risks, indoor and outdoor air treatment and purification, monitoring emissions and energy efficiency.
