A Fassi F65BFM.0.22 marine crane for search and rescue and environmental intervention

Nasva (Estonia) – The Estonian company Baltic Workboats AS has recently launched a wave-piercing landing craft equipped with a F65BFM.0.22 marine crane. The 18.6 m boat was commissioned for the customer AGENTIA ROMANA DE SALVARE A VIETII OMENESTI PE MARE (ARSVOM), the Romanian Agency for the Salvation of Human Life at Sea, a public institution that ensures the activity of search and rescue of human life at sea and interventions in case of pollution.

The boat has the capacity to carry 5 tonnes of cargo (the F65BFM.0.22 crane can lift 6.12 tm), accommodate up to 10 people and is not weighed down by the light-weight crane as it has the capacity to reach a sprint speed of 25.6 knots. The crane was provided through Fassi’s Estonian distributor Pro Lift OÜ, a company based in the small town of Loo near Tallinn, which imports and fits lifting equipment, accessories, hydraulic components and superstructures as well as providing maintenance, recovery and repair services.
