CONEXPO 2017

As CONEXPO trade show in Las Vegas comes to an end, the Fassi stand received a good turnout of visitors

Las Vegas (U.S.) - On Saturday 11th March, the 2017 edition of the CONEXPO Las Vegas fair came to a close. The show attracted a total of 128,000 visitors over the 5 days of the show, including many visitors to the Fascan stand for the Fassi products, where the world premiere of the new F600SE.44 Fassi knuckle boom crane drew great interest.

A series of key numbers reflected the fair’s improved conditions and facilities, which were bolstered by a new pricing strategy intended to reinforce the overall quality of CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE 2017 for attendees. For example, U.S. buyer attendance rose by over 16 percent from the 2014 show, and total buyer attendance improved by almost 8 percent, overall contractor and producer attendance grew by 10 percent, almost 26,000 international attendees from 150 countries (20 percent of overall attendance) and a record-breaking 52,000 tickets for the fair’s education sessions were purchased, a 26 percent increase from the 2014 show.

Total ticket sales excluding IFPE rose by over 27 percent compared to 2014. Interestingly, almost half of all attendees serve in executive positions at their company, and more than 3-in-5 attendees serve in a decision-making role.
