A special Fassi and Mercedes-Benz Unimog combination for the Var Department Fire and Rescue Service

Draguignan (France) – This is what the future of safe and highly-effective firefighting equipment looks like: a Mercedes-Benz Unimog U400 truck installed with a Fassi F110B.0 active articulated crane. This super-efficient duo combines a Unimog truck - the most agile light truck in the world - with the versatility of a compact, light-duty Fassi crane.

It belongs to the Fire and Rescue Service for the Var Department (Service Départemental d'Incendie et de Secours du Var), headquartered in the town of Draguignan, in the south-east of France. The crane combines dexterity with strength, as it has a lifting capacity of 9.89 tm.
