Today on Fassi’s YouTube channel, “FassiGruTV”, the new video produced with SSAB

Albino (Italy) 1st July - Today sees the publication on Fassi’s YouTube channel “FassiGruTV” of the video made with the Swedish company SSAB, an international leader in the production of special steel. Fassi has chosen to use SSAB’s Strenx 1100 and Strenx 900 for the manufacture of a large number of components for its new F2150RAL crane.

This video shows Fassi’s top-of-the-range crane in action in a building site near Helsinki in Finland, demonstrating the perfect combination of special steels with advanced properties and characteristics and cutting-edge design solutions which are the result of Fassi’s more than fifty years of experience.

In addition to a low weight to strength ratio, the steel used in cranes is required to have high toughness, good welding and bending properties as well as good consistency in terms of physical, chemical and mechanical properties.

Strenx meets these critical demands and SSAB is continuously improving its development work with advanced high-strength and ultra-high-strength steels to provide even more advantages to crane manufactures.
