Fassi cranes for the Alsford Timber’s commercial fleet
July 22nd - Alsford Timber has begun to implement significant upgrades to its commercial fleet. Eleven new vehicles have been ordered for delivery in 2015, ranging from 12 tonne to 26 tonne GVW trucks. The 12 tonne trucks mark a significant increase in capacity from the traditional 7.5 tonne vehicle that is currently being used. This increase in capacity reflects on the growth of market share that is being achieved by many of Alsford Timber’s branches. Alsford Timber will also baptize the new vehicles in aid of raising money for Macmillan Cancer Care. A raffle will run until 23 October, 2015, and is open to all Alsford Timber staff and customers. Every time a new vehicle will be delivered at the company’s head office, a draw will take place of all the names that have entered into the raffle. The lucky name will be immediately printed onto both doors of one of the new vehicles.
The company Alsford Timber is the largest distributor in the field of wood material for construction/furniture/ gardening in the South East of England, with 18 branches covering Kent, Surrey and Sussex. It has 133 years of activity. Courtesy of www.buildersmerchantsnews.co.uk and www.fassiuk.com
