Cape Town (South Africa) - May 2015. The City of Cape Town’s Electricity Services Directorate is set to dramatically improve efficiency while driving down costs thanks to the introduction of three new, sophisticated trucks to its fleet. Having taken delivery of the three Iveco Trakker AD 410T42 Hi-Land 8x4s, each fitted with a Fassi 55 t/m crane with eight hydraulic extensions, the Electricity Services Directorate is convinced its maintenance capacity will increase as each truck can do the work of three normal trucks. "Dal momento che ci sarà una diminuzione di camion coinvolti per un singolo progetto, questi potranno essere compiuti molto più velocemente", dice l'assessore comunale ai servizi di utilità della città, il Sig. Ernest Sonnenberg. "I nuovi camion consumano meno combustibile. I veicoli saranno principalmente utilizzati per la manutenzione delle infrastrutture della rete di energia elettrica, come le installazioni, la rimozione e la delocalizzazione delle centrali di rete, quali trasformatori, mini-quadri e unità principali di derivazione.
