Fassi not only at South pole, now also at Artic Circle
Russia - April 2014 - A Fassi F50A crane on a tracked vehicle used in gas pipe line construction, at the Russian polar cycle in the Yamal peninsula. Here at the end of 2006 JSC "Gazprom" has decided to establish a program for the development of oil and gas. The megaproject "Yamal" has no analogues in terms of complexity. The peninsula is characterized by the presence of permafrost and prolonged winter with low temperatures (down to -50°). The pipeline route passes through the territory of two regions of the Russian Federation: Yamal - Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Komi Republic. The installation of this system would not be possible without the use of special equipment.
