Fassi Gru will be at the side of the Mooney VR46 racing team at the start of the MotoGP™ and Moto2™ world championships

Fassi Gru will be present with its logo on the tails of the bikes in the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, during the MotoGP™ and Moto2™ World Championship 2022 season.

Thursday 24 February will see the presentation of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, the Italian team that Fassi Gru is partnering for the third year running and that this year has changed the colours of its livery, with two Ducati Desmosedicis in its line-up; n. 10 ridden by Luca Marini and n. 72 ridden by Marco Bezzecchi.

The aim of the Mooney 46 Racing Team to launch and develop future motorbike champions covers a number of categories. 2022 will also see the team competing with two riders in Moto2™ on Kalexes; Celestino Vietti Ramus with n.13 and Niccolò Antonelli with n.28.

A strong team spirit, exceptional winning experience, a valuable aspect to hand down with passion to younger generations and a determining factor for continuous future leadership in this sport, and extensive technical knowledge focused specifically on innovative choices and a search for – and use of - ever-more technological materials are just some of the distinctive traits of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, which continues to express its desire to obtain increasingly ambitious results.

The sharing of winning values and motivation forms the cornerstone of the collaboration between Fassi Gru and the Mooney VR46 Racing Team; attention to detail , passion and a drive for positive action are important characteristics of the Bergamo-based company and found immediate correspondence with the approach of the team, which brings together the most talented of the VR46 Riders Academy created and managed by the champion Valentino Rossi.

For this season, Fassi Gru has also confirmed its bond with the image of the champion “Pecco” Francesco Bagnaia, placing its logo on the helmet visor of the Turin-born rider.

All that remains is to impatiently wait for the team debut in the first round of World Motor Championship challenges, which will once again be taking place in Losail, Qatar, from 4 to 6 March.
