The FIS 2019 Alpine Ski World Championships are taking place in Åre, Sofia Goggia finishes in second place in her first race
Åre (Sweden) – Held from 4th-17th February, the Alpine Ski World Championships is a biannual sports competition organised by the International Ski Federation (FIS), which awards the world titles in the various Alpine ski categories. This year they take place at the Swedish resort of Åre, in the county of Jämtland, in the north-western part of Sweden.

Garmisch (Germany) - On 26th and 27th January, Sofia Goggia’s (the athlete that Fassi has sponsored since the beginning of the year) return to racing after her injury at the beginning of the season has already produced two excellent results, respectively in the Women's Super G and Downhill in the last races to be held in Germany in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the alpine resort located in the German Alps to the south of Munich.

Apart from the athlete and the company’s shared roots in Bergamo, both share a focus on improving performance, safety and risk reduction and stability and control. Hosted by Fassi’s CEO, Giovanni Fassi, Goggia visited the plant in Albino, where she was shown around the organisation’s production facilities and offices.
