At the 28th edition of IFAT, the Fassi Group will be focusing on innovation, quality and sustainability

Fassi Gru and Marrel will be present at the IFAT trade fair in Munich. The Group will be presenting their ecological solutions. The Fassi SHT (Smart Hybrid Technology) system, the first fully electric crane, will undoubtedly attract a lot of interest.

The Fassi Group, international leader in the lifting sector, will be taking part for the fourth time in this German trade fair, on stand FGL.811/6, in the external area, which covers 150 m2. Fassi Gru will be sharing the stand with the well-known Swedish company Cranab, a leading name in the forestry sector, and the French Marrel, an important player in logistics, with its hooklifts. Three frontrunners in their relative fields that, by uniting their forces in the multinational Fassi Group, continue to offer the market innovative products with multiple configuration solutions, some integrated with others, to satisfy the highest demands of the various areas of the ecology sector.

The Fassi Group understands well that the quality of products and services is a determining factor in defining a company image and its positioning on the market; a goal that is achieved with cutting-edge solutions that have a significant effect on client profitability. This is why the Group has taken the pressing decision to make ever more significant investments into sustainability goals.

This focus on the sector of services with low environmental impact and therefore to the containment of gas and noise emissions at the German trade fair will undoubtedly see significant interest for the new Fassi SHT (Smart Hybrid Technology) system, which allows a wide range of crane models, from Micro cranes up to those with a 40-tm lifting capacity, to operate in a fully electronic manner. The Fassi SHT system allows the crane to operate with the truck engine switched off thanks to its own electric motor powered by the battery pack. The system is safe, as it operates at a low voltage (48V-51V) and therefore does not require any special operator training. The system has a dual recharging system, and the batteries can be charged either from the mains via a mono-phase 240V, 16A power supply or via the truck engine during transportation.

In terms of business and client profitability, the Fassi Group is dedicated to developing a series of operative opportunities in the field of environmental service logistics. These include a specific series of Fassi knuckle-boom cranes, Marrel hooklift systems and Cranab cranes for particularly challenging tasks regarding the handling of lumber and ferrous materials. All of these systems play a vital role in a wide range of situations; for example, in the transportation of bins and special containers for the collection of recyclable materials.

IFAT will see the presentation of the new Fassi F185A.1 e-dynamic crane with the ACM system to improve waste collection through automatic operations that facilitate the handling of containers, This is a new range of cranes, which integrates similar existing models, and has been created to respond to the specific demands of a number of European markets, in particular for recycling solutions. The aim is to reduce the dimensions and render the crane more compact in order to allow it to be fitted to two-axle trucks.

The French company Marrel develops products with the aim of increasing productivity while at the same time guaranteeing high levels of functional security for its products. These are 2 essential aspects in the environmental services sector.

Designed to quickly load and unload, the Ampliroll® hooklift offers advantages in terms of efficiency and productivity. Its design, which combines performance, lightness and efficiency, allows skips to be easily loaded even in complex situations. Marrel’s tilting frame guarantees elevated lifting power, for the loading of skips in all conditions.

Ampliroll® hooklifts have a lifting capacity of between 3 and 28 tons for all needs, from local waste collection to large recycling and waste recovery sites. An Ampliroll® AL3PA, ideal for urban use, will be on display on our stand.

Cranab, located in Vindeln, in the forests of Western Sweden, is perfectly located for its mission; the forestry industry. Its cranes from the TL and TZ series for the collection of lumber, which are also ideal for ferrous materials, play a fundamental role in all forest cleaning and deforesting operations.
