Ecomondo 2017 - Rimini (IT)

Fassi Gru returns to the world of ecological recycling by participating in Ecomondo

Fassi Gru will be present at Ecomondo Rimini from 7 to 10 November 2017.
An important return to the world of ecology for the Italian company with the presentation of a Fassi knuckle-boom crane, a Cranab crane specifically for the recycling sector, and two Marrel roll-off hooklifts.

An important return after twenty years of absence. In fact, after having interrupted the production of loaders for the recycling of ferrous materials in 1993, Fassi Gru is returning to the world of ecology with its products resulting from partnerships with world-famous brands such as Cranab and Marrel.

It is this new guise that characterised the company’s participation in the 21st edition of Ecomondo, a leading trade fair for green and circular economy in the Euro-Mediterranean area, which will take place at Rimini Fiera from 7 to 10 November. The 80 square-metre stand (pavilion C, stand 066) will be displaying a Fassi F165AZ.22 crane, a Cranab TZ12 crane for the recycling sector and a Marrel Ampliroll AL 26Si hooklift for roll-off systems. Furthermore, in a supplementary exposition area (external area A2C2) a Volvo FH 6x2 truck fitted with a Marrel Ampliroll AL 26Si roll-off hooklift will be presented.

Marrel, known worldwide for having created roll-off hooklift equipment and for the Ampliroll brand, will be at Ecomondo with its innovative new products which combine construction design and high-pressure hydraulic technology. Thanks to the combination of these factors, Marrel’s offer is specifically for requirements regarding recycled materials. The product range, made up of three lines of Amplirolls, allows containers of varying lengths to be loaded from the ground onto trucks and trailers, to then be transported. Marrel also manufactures two lines of skiploaders; systems for the transportation of materials via skips loaded from the ground. In addition to this, Marrel was also the first company to design tipper scissors, which can be installed on industrial 3.5-ton and 32-ton, rear-side tipper, two-side tipper and three-side tipper trucks. Marrel offers innovative solutions for the sector, combining almost 100 years of experience with modern requirements for performance, and the high quality of its network of dealers and workshops.

Cranab has, for some time, been well-known internationally for the quality and innovation of its cranes made specifically for the forestry sector and its forwarder vehicles. With these prerogatives, it is now also making a name for itself in the market for truck-mounted cranes, for the transportation of lumber and for the loading of scrap. The Cranab TZ12 is the first model from this new generation, initially available with hydraulic outreaches of between 8.3 m and 10.5 m. This new product is the result of highly-intensive stress tests, designed and manufactured in synergy with Fassi. Thanks to experience and meticulous attention to detail during the design stage, Cranab offers a product with a reduced weight, designed with the requirements of installation onto trucks in mind, guaranteeing efficient solutions for the highest operating levels. Cranab is also the leading manufacturer of accessories for sustainable forest management and highly-technological hydraulic grapples for a wide range of uses.

The Fassi F165AZ.22, supplied with a bucket as an accessory, is part of the medium-duty range of Fassi cranes, and belongs to the special Z Series, created especially for the handling of ferrous scrap and other recycling materials, with the use of specialized accessories. This model can be fitted with: a seat with double hydraulic circuit, dual joystick and dual pedal commands, internal supplementary hoses for the secondary arm, support for the hydraulic accessory and hydraulic extension of the booms with a permanently-lubricated chain system. This Fassi crane model belongs to the HC1 HD4 S2 class (if fitted onto trucks), according to the EN 12999:2011 regulation.
