Fassi at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas with the USA dealer Fascan International

Scheduled from 14 to 18 March 2023, CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas is the largest construction trade fair in North America. Fassi GRU will be attending with its US dealer Fascan International in the Festival Lot area, at stand F9627.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG, taking place from 14 to 18 March 2023 in Las Vegas, is an essential event for the lifting world, as it is the largest construction trade fair in North America; asphalts, aggregates, cement, earth-moving, cranes, mining, public services and many more play lead roles in the American event. CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the result of the 1996 merger of CONEXPO and CON/AGG, and this year’s event promises to be a record-breaker; all the exhibition spaces sold out extremely early, and it is now certain that the 2023 edition of the fair will be the biggest ever. Forecasts are for a 5% increase in the record number of exhibitors seen in 2020, with 1,800 exhibitors and more than 175 seminars and conventions.

Fassi will be attending with its dealer Fascan International in the Festival Lot area, at stand F9627. Fascan International is the exclusive Fassi dealer for the United States, and has its main headquarters in Baltimore, in the state of Maryland. Its support network is made up of 65 certified branches throughout the USA and has been providing support for dealerships and clients for over 30 years.

This edition of CONEXPO-CON/AGG is taking place in a particularly active period for the North-American market, which is marked by an increase in the use of knuckle-boom cranes, with an expansion into new fields of application that now ranges from mining to tree pruning, from road works and Oil & Gas, to handling artwork, as well as in the traditional construction sector. These sectors are undoubtedly seeing a general trend towards stronger and simpler connectivity between truck and crane, allowing for principal performance factors to be monitored via tablet or smartphone. Fassi has developed new systems inspired by the “cranebot” concept, i.e., equipping cranes with automation based on new capabilities for precise processing and control that improve user experience while ensuring safety. The most recent technological innovations include the FX990 control unit fitted to the TECHNO models, and the corresponding systems - FSC-TECHNO and the latest version of the IoC (Internet of Cranes). Lastly, with regards to sustainability and environmental impact, HST (Hybrid Smart Technology), which was recently introduced by Fassi, allows for considerable fuel savings and a lower carbon footprint while operating in fully-electric mode.

The undisputed queen of the stand will be the Fassi F1750R.2 HXP-TECHNO crane, making its North-American debut. Fassi models presented alongside the F1750R.2 HXP-TECHNO include:
