Tom Chaplin - "Fassi In London"

Tom Chaplin – Author of “Fassi In London”

Tom Chaplin is a largely self-taught photographer and digital re-toucher based in and around London. Currently studying photography at university, Tom works freelance, for the photography agency South Bank Collective (CIC) and helps to run workshops teaching camera skills and techniques.

Tom’s image pictures a Fassi crane at work in the London skyline, staged within one of the factories in Italy. Using photographs of London shot by Lisa Drew, Tom projected these images 10 metres high in the darkened factory space, lighting the cranes in front of the projectors, to create these unique images that combine Italy, London and Fassi.
