Arturas Bondarciukas - Cranes in Motion

Arturas Bondarciukas – Author of “Cranes in Motion”

Arturas is a Digital Photography student at London South Bank University who is working with computer generated imagery, computational arts, as well as traditional photography. Combining these practices, he is expanding his creative vision and potential, allowing him to work on creative projects, delivering unique results. Besides working as a photographer, Arturas has experience in retouching images to industry standards and assisting professional photographers. Manipulating the lights and working in the studio environment comes naturally to Arturas, enabling him to deliver professional results for his clients.
Arturas was inspired by the history of motion capture in early photography, and its pioneers, Eadweard Muybridge and Étienne-Jules Marey. Using contemporary technological advances in photography and post-production, Arturas created this image to depict the range of motion, and precision of Fassi cranes. The image is also a celebration of the factory space in which the cranes are built.
