IOC – Internet Of Cranes

With Fassi’s patented “Internet of Cranes® – IoC” system, all cranes equipped with the dedicated device are “online.” This enables operators to rely on an always-active assistance service, optimizing maintenance time and costs. The Fassi “Internet of Cranes® – IoC” system manages all the information gathered from crane operations, offering the operator (or the service center) the advantages of a machine equipped with active intelligent logic during actual use.

The new-generation digital radio remote control, exclusively compatible with the Fassi product, with wide graphic display to remotely control the functions of the crane and, optionally, the vehicle and the outriggers. The new graphic interface of Fassi’s V7 remote controls represents an improvement in the efficiency of the communication between the crane and its operator, enabling the operator to detect and understand an event to optimise their work.

The X-Design decagonal section of the secondary boom and telescopic extensions is an innovation that optimizes the distribution of stress between the slide and the beam, reducing the overall weight of the crane without compromising its structural strength. This configuration ensures higher lifting capacity, especially in vertical setups, and improves the crane’s operational efficiency.

FX900 – Fassi Electronic Control

An electronic control system governing the load conditions of the crane, hydraulic and manual jibs and the winch, offering technical and functional characteristics suited to specific crane models, particularly those delivering high operational performance even under the most challenging operating conditions. It also manages lifting moment, allowing the activation of multiple work areas in accordance with the conditions of stability of the vehicle/crane combination.

FSC – Fassi Stability Control

A Fassi system that continuously monitor and ensure the ideal crane working conditions versus the vehicle/crane stability, based on the position of the lateral extension supports of the outriggers. Drive by Fassi

With Drive by Fassi, the operator can maneuver a Volvo Trucks vehicle directly from the Fassi V7 radio remote control, without being in the cab. Integrated with the Exster interface developed by Volvo Trucks, this technology is part of a reliable and safe system created through the collaboration between Fassi and Volvo Trucks Italia. As the natural evolution of the FX-Link system, it now makes it possible not only to manage certain vehicle functions from the crane’s remote control and monitor the crane’s status from the truck dashboard, but also to move the truck remotely with maximum precision and safety.
