    This January, Fassi Asia Pacific SDN. BHD. obtained a prestigious form of certification for the construction of truck-mounted cranes from the Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). 


    This achievement marks a significant turning point for the company, which began operations in Malaysia in 2013 with the aim of leading the country’s hydraulic knuckle-boom crane manufacturing industry. Since then, Fassi Asia Pacific has been constantly dedicated to the safety and well-being of workers in the workplace, maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

    Lyon (France) - One of the most important European trade fairs for road haulage and urban transport professionals is currently taking place in Lyon. This biennial event, now in its 15th edition, sees the participation of Fassi France with Marrel at stand E171, in Hall 3, where it is possible to see a Fassi F185A.2.23 xe-dynamic crane and an F545RA.2.26 xe-dynamic crane.

    Lyon (France) - The largest European exhibition for road and urban transport, SOLUTRANS 2019, will take place at the Eurexpo convention centre in Chassieu, southeast of Lyon, from 19th to 23rd November. The fair, now celebrating its 15th edition, will take digital and electrical innovation as its theme this year and organisers expect to the event to be equally successful as the previous year, when 48,240 visitors and 610 exhibitors attended.

    The international Fassi group, which operates in a range of sectors related to transportation and lifting through a series of companies, with Fassi Gru S.p.A. playing a leading role, has recently acquired Bavaria Fahrzeugbau.


    During a recent visit to the German plant, Giovanni Fassi, the CEO of the Italian manufacturer of knuckle-boom cranes, stressed the importance of maintaining a solid relationship with all employees.

    Bergamo (Italy) – In 2013, Fassi became the part-owner of the Cranab Group and from then on has continued to increase its shares in the enterprise bit by bit. Now that the chairman of Cranab, Mr Hans Eliasson, is retiring after having spent 45 years with the company, the acquisition of his shares has allowed Fassi to become the full shareholder of the group, which includes the subsidiary companies Cranab, Slagkraft, Vimek and Bracke Forest.

    The Fassi Group has acquired Forez-Bennes via its French holding CTELM

    On 3 August 2023, the FASSI Group in France formally acquired Forez-Bennes through the holding CTELM. This latest addition to the Group joins the other organisations already present, i.e., Fassi France, Marrel (producer of the Ampliroll® hooklifts) and the industrial body shops Miltra Paris Nord, Miltra Provence and Decauville.


    This acquisition completes the Group’s range in France, offering three main types of truck-mounted lifting equipment: knuckle-boom cranes, tippers and hydraulic hooklifts.
