Fassi at the inauguration of the new production plant of the company SVI S.p.A.Lucignano (Italy) - 2nd October. The company SVI, founded in 1999 by Ivano Sambuchi and Mauro Vannoni, inaugurated its new industrial production plant on Sunday, 2nd October, in the vicinity of Lucignano (28 km south of Arezzo). It was envisioned, planned and completed for the construction of railway equipment for the production and maintenance of railway infrastructure. The new production plant covers an indoor area of 11,000 square metres and is located in a private industrial zone of 180,000 uncovered square metres.
The collaboration between Fassi Gru S.p.A. and SVI S.p.A. was born ten years ago, and over time has been solidified thanks to the supply of articulated cranes created for fitting on railway cars, destined for the national and international markets.
Fassi Gru S.p.A.'s managing director, Mr Giovanni Fassi, was present at the ceremony, along with Mr Mauro Dellacasa, manager of Fassi’s Italian market, and Mr Stefano Prioreschi, director of Fassi's Florence office.
