Trix Carver - "Fassi Reborn"

Trix Carver – Author of “Fassi Reborn”

Trix Carver, originally from the South West of England has moved to London to pursue her interests in photography, the performing arts and networking. In her developing practice she has grown particularly interested in socio-political photography. Her most recent projects have included themes about connectivity, social media and performance.

These can be seen in her projects; Quirks and Tics, Who the Fuck is Thomas Dwight? (2014) and essay; How Have Digital Technologies Created New Formats for Exhibition and Dissemination of Photography? (2015). Her work is represented by the South Bank Collective and she also works as a producer, currently working on a selection of projects.
Trix was inspired by the cranes themselves, seeing them as intricately designed, highly aesthetic objects. Imagining a future where the cranes are building other cranes, she filled the factory with smoke and lit the cranes and the space to create this dramatic image.
