PMI Day 2017

80 students from the Istituto Solari di Albino visit Fassi’s Head Office and factory as part of PMI Day 2017

Albino (Italy) – On the morning of 28th November, 80 students aged between 12-13 from the Istituto Solari di Albino, a nearby secondary school, visited Fassi Gru S.p.A.’s Head Office in Albino as part of the 8th annual PMI Day (“La Giornata Nazionale delle Piccole e Medie Imprese” – National Small and Medium Businesses’ Day), organised by the association Confindustria.

This was not the first time Fassi has taken part in this initiative, in which local enterprises open their doors to young people on the cusp of making important scholastic decisions. During the visit, which was undertaken with a view to imparting some of the passion, knowledge and business culture at the centre of the Fassi Group, the children were taken on a tour of the OMEFA factory, where they had the opportunity to discover the various aspects of production. There was also a careers-based discussion, in which staff explained what professional skills are the most desired in potential candidates.
