On 3 August 2023, the FASSI Group in France formally acquired Forez-Bennes through the holding CTELM. This latest addition to the Group joins the other organisations already present, i.e., Fassi France, Marrel (producer of the Ampliroll® hooklifts) and the industrial body shops Miltra Paris Nord, Miltra Provence and Decauville.
This acquisition completes the Group’s range in France, offering three main types of truck-mounted lifting equipment: knuckle-boom cranes, tippers and hydraulic hooklifts.
The aim of the operation is to foster the creation of new resources to guarantee the success of a solid long-term group vision. The complementary nature of the products, combined with the know-how and competence of each company, will lead to true synergy from an industrial, logistic and commercial point of view.

The commitment of the teams already in the group is a guarantee of success. Pierre-Jean Lafont will remain the CEO and will be joining the new FASSI Group executive team in France alongside Benoît Boutonnet (the CEO of Fassi France) and Arnaud Thieulin (the CEO of Marrel).
Forez-Bennes is a French company that has been designing, manufacturing and installing truck tipper beds for more than 50 years. The production plant is located in Champdieu, in the Loire department.
